- Started oil painting, with by Ron Reynolds and Marion Bruere, had 2 yrs of w/c withDavid Taylor, have attended w/shops and been tutored by Alvaro Castagnet, Amanda Hyatt and Joseph Zbukvic. Joined Seymour Art Soc after moving to Kilmore. Have rec'd awards judged by Carl Anderson, David K Taylor and Kevin Boucher. Many paintings purchased by interstate and overseas buyers. Have been commissioned to paint Aust. landscapes in w/c for hanging in Malaysia. Have had solo exhs at the MAD Gallery in Lancefield, Gillmay Arts in Romsey and the Heathcote Winery Gallery. Mainly paint in w/c or acr, and occas have a dabble in pastel, though rekindled love of oil. Particularly like painting wet-on-wet with watercolour, watching the effects the paint makes on the damp paper, how the colours mingle together. I currently have work on display at the Old Courthouse Gallery in Seymour, the MAD Gallery in Lancefield, Willira Gallery in Kilmore, and at U Can Do Kilmore and the Lancefield Old Railway Carriage Nursery and Gallery, Araminta's in Seymour and the Wahring Info Centre.
